That's when CAVU is especially impressive and grand.

Thomas, how did you get such a clean window?  My few experiences are hampered by a window that looks like it had last been cleaned with steel wool and then the plane landed on a mud runway.  Oh well, enjoyed the view.

In my flying days, we sometimes referred to CAVU as "Severe Clear". ;-)
