« on: February 29, 2008, 11:20:45 AM »
What does "CRC error detected in loop packet. Data ignored"  mean

I have it set to download data then nd it to the web site.  ( I am still not getting historical graphs.  another story)

It seems like everything is working ok other than that

CRC: cyclic redundancy check

CRC's are used to verify the data received is what was sent. In layman's terms a CRC value is calculated by the sender and sent along with the data. The receiver runs the same calculation and compares the value it gets to the value the sender appended to the data and if they are the data is considered to be ok. If not, you get an error.
