14P65 and weird Baro graph
« on: September 17, 2009, 06:40:24 PM »
I'm running P65 V14 with my Davis VP1.  I just noticed something strange that I don't know when it started.

My barometric pressure graph is reading funny.  On my console right now, I'm reading 30.00 inches.  On my VWS display, I'm reading 30.00 in on my main broadcast display.  If you look at my website, the textual version of pressure is 30.00.  But my dang graph is showing 27.99 in.  What's up with that?  I know it wasn't doing this in the fall when I upgraded to 14.  Not sure when it happened.

Ok, even more weird.  I closed and re-opened VWS.  I think the graph is now showing the right number.  But the previous 36 hours, it switched from a normal looking up and down graph of the past 36 hours, to a mostly flat line.  But the current reading is about right.  So I guess I just wait for the graph to clear out...

I looked at your graph, and that is odd, did you by any chance make a calibration adjustment to your barometer, or change the numbers for your altitude in VWS?  I am thinking that perhaps the restart allowed those numbers to be put into effect from that point forward.
