DO NOT attempt to "fix" it or you will unleash big problems.

just let it ride... no issues.   It self trims as it goes....

macbig, Your banner is taking a long time to load. And is causing the pages that you post on to lag.

Thanks,

Must have been a temp issue with Godaddy or something else.  I cant recreate, and have not made any changes...

when it self trims, is that data that is trimmed off then still available in a date stamped file or similar?

Yes, it is still available in the exact same format..... There are several db's being updated at the same time.  You always have access to the exact same data held in the "trimmed" db by looking at the one for your particular year.

So if you are updating every 20 minutes, assuming you started your db on Jan 1 you would hit 20K records on day 277.  On day 360 you could just open your 2009dbase.csv to see what happened on Jan 2nd....  But it would not be in your "running" dbase.csv file.   you can also access the daily/monthly etc BIN files for daily details.

Banner loading fine today. As you said. Must have been a GD issue at the time.

Thanks,
Anthony
