When you run setup database it will test it.

When you run setup database it will test it.

Test in the Main Setup shows it is OK:

Success: A proper connection to MySQL was made!

Table already exists.

But obviously it is not.

If it makes a proper connection I don't know what is wrong.  I wouldn't rush to erase the data.  I'm sure Jachym will figure it out.

Yep.  I did run the testupdate.php and see the following which may have some reason for this:

Update Test

Checking validity of data based on your limits in Main settings...

Checking date and time...
There seems to be a problem with the date and time. Either it has not been parsed correctly or it is a date/time in the future! Check the format you specified and also the actual values.
Minimum temperature allowed: -15 F
Maximum temperature allowed: 110 F
Temperature is outside the allowed limits! Temperature value will be ignored!
Minimum humidity allowed: 0 %
Maximum humidity allowed: 100 %
Humidity OK.
Minimum pressure allowed: 28 inhg
Maximum pressure allowed: 33 inhg
Pressure is outside the allowed limits! Pressure value will be ignored!
Minimum wind speed allowed: 0 mph
Maximum wind speed allowed: 200 mph
Wind speed OK.
Minimum wind gust allowed: 0 mph
Maximum wind gust allowed: 200 mph
Wind gust OK.
Minimum daily precipitation allowed: 0 in
Maximum daily precipitation allowed: 200 in
Daily precipitation OK.
Minimum rain rate allowed: 0 in/h
Maximum rain rate allowed: 500 in/h
Rain rate OK.
Minimum wind direction allowed: 0 degrees
Maximum wind direction allowed: 360 degrees
Wind direction OK.

Calculating dew point based on parsed values...
Temperature or humidity or both are not valid. Not possible to calculate dew point.

Calculating apparent temperature based on parsed values...
One or more parameters from the following: temperature, humidity, wind speed, are not valid. Impossible to calculate apparent temperature.

Summary
There is a problem with the date and time, nothing would be imported. Check the date/time format you specified and the actual values in the file.

This again seems like a server issue, if the script now works, there is no way it could be a script problem if you did not change anything in the code. With PHP code it is either or. EIther it works or it doesnt, but its not like it works for an hour and then not again...

Seems you just have extreme bad luck... hopefully it will work now. I think the scripts I fixed yesterday are also working fine (Bloomsky, indoorData). Looking at your site now, all seems fine.

Thanks - all looks good now.  Will see how it goes over the next 24-48 hours before I update any blocks, etc

If this host has issues again (!) I guess the only option left would be me hosting your site on my server and redirected from your domain :D

Hi Stewart,
Im not sure why you are using the menuBlock syntax for a single block. Just use a normal block syntax, thats what you want. See the PDF I made in the wiki about block layouts with examples.

In your case, simply use:

ssGauges
dynamicText
multipleBlock.....

I am using the newest version of the forecast block and have it configured for Weather Underground and installed my WU API.  The block keeps saying Forecast currently not available.  Anyone else using the Forecast Block with WU and have it working? I see it appears to be working on the demo site at Brno.

Does anyone know if the API is specific to a particular subdirectory under the main domain or is it good for the whole domain.  For example will weather.kq5s.com and www.kq5s.com use the same API?

Hi,
the WU API key is not specified for a particular referrer, which is why you dont see it in the HTML too, it is just in the PHP section and it simply has a daily quota which can be used by anyone who knows this key.
This is strange, the only thing I can think of is that the location for WU is not correct, did it ever work?

I don't remember if it worked on your template or not.  It has worked before on other software.  I have changed to location and get the same result.  If there is a problem with my key will I get the same message saying Forecast currently not available?

I have had no issue with the WU forecast which I use as default as the Yahoo was often Not Available.

Jachym,
Again I see a css and icons folder in my existing fireDanger block that is not in the new v.2.1.  Maybe this is remnants of  v.1.1 that I should have removed with the v.2.0 update?

I recently tried to use the dynamicImage Block to display a couple of images, up until now I'd just had one.

No luck, the images display one above the other, not cycling as I think it should.  Uploaded the block again, checked permissions, triple checked that I'm using a ; between the url's etc etc

Baffled! Any other things I should look at??

Can be seen near the bottom of my home page just above the NASA Image
