Topic: After install of 14.00p51 I am getting SiUSBXp,dll not found

Hi, I just installed the latest build, installed fine but when I go to run it I get an error that says "SiUSBXp.dll cannot be found, reinstall app the fix this" I have but nothing.

Any ideas?

Same here!  I've tried to downgrade but it won't go.  I just sent support@ambientweather.com two emails with screen captures of the problem.  Hopefully they will get back with me some.  Right now VWS is down on my system. 

I've also tried to uninstall and reinstall a previous version of VWS with no luck as well.

Hopefully we can figure something out.

Guess I won't bother trying the latest version until further notice.

Hi Mark,
I did.  I actually tried it several times with reboots to make sure everything got cleared out.  I think I might have it back going at p51.  I finally copied the c:\vws folder to another drive, uninstalled vws, deleted the vws installer folder, downloaded the latest non-beta version, rebooted, installed non-beta version and it is back up.  However, it is showing p51!  Don't ask me how.  LOL

I Installed and then reverted back to 40 the other day. We are expecting some rain tonight so I thought I'd give p50 a whirl.

FWIW, when I ran the new file, I got a "no software will be installed" screen. I then deleted the program files|vws installer directory and had the same issue.
 I ended up making a backup of the entire vws directory and then did a Windows "add/remove programs" to uninstall vws. I was then able to run the installer. NOTE: After the uninstall, all of the data in my VWS directory remained and I didn't have to copy any files from my backup.
