Meteobridge solar radiation data
« on: March 19, 2015, 09:09:56 PM »
It appears my Meteobridge is sending solar radiation data to Weather Underground even though I do not have a sensor installed.  The reading is always 1784.0.  Any ideas as to why this is happening?  I will have periods where no data is present and the it will just start sending the data (1784.0).  Weird!
Thanks

If you display Solar on your console and watch it, do you get the high readings? I would see if the console is showing the solar reading first, Meteobridge might just be sending the (bogus) info along.

If you are getting readings on the console, I would start by looking for corrosion or contaminants on the "sun" input at the ISS that might be intermittently shorting the excitation voltage to the signal line.

I never see anything associated to the sun on the console.  I had the ISS down for service the other day and all the terminals look great...However I did not specifically look for corrosion on the sun input terminal.  Based on your suggestion I will take another look-see.
