Title: Best place to order Davis Pro2 ?

I'm getting close to ordering.  What is the best reliable place to order a Davis Vantage Pro2 from?   It seems like the prices went up on the Davis the past month.   I looked at a couple places but shipping seems high.    Amazon has a 30 return policy but I like to make sure I'm getting the latest Davis equipment,  rain guage etc.

only one place and thoroughly trusted amongst these forums on your side of the pond USA
thats scaled instruments, just wish we had similar in this part of the world ..turkey..

Unless you enjoy paying a huge markup, never buy from Davis directly. The two links supplied above are undoubtedly the best.

I've not done a price comparison or even searched for lowest prices lately.

I've been so pleased with Scaled Instruments with his prompt attention, lack of salesman BS and coming across as truly customer oriented that I've ordered the few things that I have over the last years from him.

Too bad his company is so darned hard to remember, and that it sounds a lot like Burt Rutan's company out on the California dry lakebed.

It is possible someone else is a few dollars less expensive, but the majority of time this company has been as low or nearly so as I've seen.

that being said, there is little margin, these guys work hard to keep in business, and no doubt there are others to whom I cannot attest, who have as high of a customer loyalty as this one.

Make your choice, order your VP2 and hope that this causes the VP3 to come out soon!
