You realize this camera is shipping from China ? I bought one of these knock offs and it died in the first 6 months. Looked like a Foscam but wasn't. I am now out $60 because I can't get them to replace it and besides shipping back the bad one will cost far more than the effort to walk out side and put it on the curb.

I don't worry about that this thing is from China. I bought many stuff and after twenty good deliveries, I get one bad ... well, I can live with this, because other twenties was good and cheap.

Why not get a UPS?

A UPS ( Uninterruptible power supply) that's my plan for my home's Network
though mine needs a new battery it used to give me about 30-35 minutes of wifi
during a power outage which was handy. just think about what all you want to run off of it
and get a UPS that will suit your needs.
and remember with a Backup battery you want your settings to be in, " Power Saver Mode"
