WS-2000 and uploading data
« on: October 31, 2018, 04:15:13 PM »
Can anyone clarify what websites I can upload data to with this unit? I already have WU and ambientweather.net sorted but I think I read in another post that there's also the ability to upload to PWSweather.com and weathercloud I believe.

With just the WS-2000 display console you can send to all 4 of these.
  • Weather Underground: via console configuration
  • ambientweather.net: via console configuration
  • PWSweather: via ambientweather.net website settings
  • WeatherCloud: via using awnet mobile app setings (it talks to the console and sets the console to connect to WeatherCloud)

There is also the possibility of maybe sending also to Met Office WOW if this undocumented loophole is still available in the latest version of awnet app. Well at least it worked with the WS-2902A.

You can also add an ObserverIP with a Meteobridge or other weather software on a computer (WeeWx and Weather-Display) to then send to even more weather sites or personal website or local network SQL database. It pretty much limitless in terms of options and different ways of doing it.
