Bogus Loss of Signal Alerts
« on: June 28, 2017, 11:31:55 AM »
Today I started getting a lot of "Loss of Signal" alerts messages from MyAcuRite.com for all my sensors when there is no problem. Their sight must be having problems today.

Quote
My AcuRite has not received a signal from Basement for more than 2 hours. Check sensor batteries and verify range and placement.

I get this from time to time. As long as the data is going to WU and the MYAcurite site I am not too concerned. Their displays are problematic. A few days ago I got a reading of 133mph wind! There was a gust of maybe 25mph. The false readings are only on the display, not on MyAcurite or WU.

Yup I got them too, one from my 5n1 and one from my tower sensor called a friend of mine and he also got them today, some sort of glitch or something.

Got more today. Yesterday I got two rounds of bogus alerts during the 3 AM & 10 AM Central time hour, and today during the 2 AM hour.

They're coming in fast and furious! Too bad no one from Acurite reads this Acurite section of wxforum.  #-o

Same here.  I've also seen some red offline status messages when the station is clearly reporting accurately and not offline.

Maybe they got it fixed. None for the last two days for me.
