Let's see what show up first.  A forecast on my magnet, or a saleman in my inbox.  Nice little marketing touch for them if it works.

I've used it for 5 years or more and never been spammed.

I was a bit leery at first too.

I pasted the code (without the html tags) into a ubb img tag in my post above.  This morning, the temp was accurate, and it showed a forecast of afternoon mist.  It's now early afternoon, and the temp is right, but the forecast is blank.

I was really curious to know if their data was coming from my station.  With WU and other sites, entering my zip code returns "weather for Wynaco" which means it had to come from my station uploads to WU or CWOP, since there is no Wynaco.  I made it up based on the history of the area and to see who snags my data.  If it returns as "Auburn" then it comes from somewhere else most likely.  (I live in unincorporated King county, but the zip is attached to Auburn, for rural post delivery.)

I would think their source is NWS, but maybe not.

...and

It looks like they have borrowed (stolen?) the icons used by Weather For You.

You know, I was also think that they came from WFY, they alter just a smidget but they are very similar which makes me suspicious for the site

Just saying, i believe all of the weather stickers come from NWS offices, so like where i live, im about 30 miles east of the NWS office, but the data is coming from that office and is being presented onto the sticker...does that make sense?
