Here is some pictures of the first part of mounting my new station.

Digging a hole

Supports the pole before I pour in the cement

Ensure that the pole is vertical

More pictures will come.

It looks great!  I'm sure the temperatures makes the project challenging!

What worries me most is the concrete, if it will burn well until the station arrives  :???:

I've been told that it will take much longer time in the winter, due to the low temperature.

From my own experience - a few weeks ago - be carefull when setting anemometer.
I think a burr from tapping in the bore gave me a wrong position, so, I need to move down the pole, deburr and set correctly the anemometer as shown on those pictures.

Good luck!

I guess you're going to have to change the website and WU and all that other stuff you're sending data to.    :-k

How is the rain collector heater working out?  I see what I thought was the power line leading across the lawn and up the pole to it.  How far did you have to run wire to your ISS?

Don't know yet, because it have not snowed yet.

I will let you know as soon as it have been snowing.

That's correct, It's the power to the rain heater and It's about 10 m to the connector.

I have made the changes to my own website, but what is there to change on WU?

I have made the changes to my own website, but what is there to change on WU?

It looks like you've already made it.  I believe that the weather history page for you on WU listed the LaCrosse station yesterday, but now it lists the Davis station.

Are you going to take the LaCrosse station down or leave it running?

You could have both uploading to WU.  (I have three)

The problem is that I only have 1 com port on my weather computer, so at the moment I'm gonna leave it running.
