Topic: Solar Power for WMR100

So looking at the OS site looks like I can no longer purchase STC800.  I'm more of a DIY guy so I was thinking of building my own.

1. I have a few solar panels left over from WMR968 anyone ever repurpose them for a different system?

2. Anyone build/power with an aftermarket or home built panel?  I was looking at picking up something from Aliexpress.

From what I have read the sensors for the WMR100 both can be powered from 3.3v?  Wind direction/speed and temp/humidity.
