Alertlog directory files.
« on: February 14, 2018, 10:42:16 AM »
Was doing my irregular but should be monthly back up of my website and I was checking the humongeos number of files I seem to have.  The alertlog folder caught my eye.

There seems to be .txt files from all prior alert days in there - close to 100 plus I think.  Was wondering if these are the history records and should be kept, or are they 'left-overs' from aleets now passed and can be deleted.  Not really doing any hard I suppose, but it's getting close to time to do some clean up and housekeeping.

Thanks

Ken

These are the files that are used to display the alert archives. If that's a feature you use, you don't want to delete them. Otherwise, no problem.

Thanks Jasiu --

I'll keep 'em, plan to use that feature with the next (summer) upgrade I do.
