Where are annual temperature extremes stored?

I am using Weatherlink html tags in my website HTX file to pull up temperature extremes.  ( <!--hiYearlyOutsideTemp--> )  Where is this data pulled from? In the WLK files? In the console?

Console via the logger and WeatherLink tags are dependent on the WeatherLink version and station type
