Davis Vantage Pro 2 - Humidity Sensor Failing?
« on: March 22, 2018, 04:46:13 PM »
I just noticed that my Humidity value has been plummeting since yesterday.

Does this mean that the sensor unit has failed? Part number 7346.070

If so where is the best place to buy? I am in New Zealand and the dealer here seems to want $103 NZD + shipping.

Hi Trent from Elite Weather in NZ

Yes looks like the Humidity Sensor is dead or dying.

I have them too can do you one for $100 inc gst 103.50 normally I think.

all weather station's have this issue to one degree or another
hopefully the new sensors last longer

(some people have tried to clean their sensors to varying degrees of success)
