Aurora (Northern Lights) Best Viewing Chance tonight
« on: July 16, 2017, 08:20:57 AM »
hello for those living in the very northern latitudes you have excellent viewing probability with perhaps incredible intense colourful displays albeit weather permitting.

those living at less northerly latitudes for example between 50-54 you have a good probability of seeing the Northern Lights this evening albeit weather permitting and surrounding landscape/lights.

the geomagnetic storm is now at major storm levels ! oh I wish i was somewhere in the UK on the north east coast or even further north..zero chance of ever seeing anything here in turkey..

hope you all see something would love to see any photographs..

take care brian..

cQ Aurora i miss also..

I am at 45N latitude. There are talking about this on twitter and the news. It is a possibility as far south at Northern Iowa. Since I am in the city it may be harder to see them, although there are less lights to the north.
