Cool setup. How does the anemometer work though? The anemometer uses 3 ultrasonic sensors to detect both wind movement and direction with no moving parts. The rain gauge detects impacts of single droplets and can (via analysis of the sound spectrum of the impacts) tell the intensity of the precipitation and differentiate between rain and hail .. also with no moving parts.
Single Droplets??? Holy Cow (in my best Harry Cary voice)...that's quite sensitive. Wonder if a bird dropped his 'stuff' on it, would it measure it?
