My Davis Pro 2 Plus / WH1081 Setup
« on: October 04, 2016, 11:47:47 PM »
I've gone more on a Professional type of layout for mine. Here's mine in South Australia:

Home Made Stevenson Screen with WH1081 Rain Gauge using the old Davis Pro 2 rain cone - Measures 0.1mm per tip via Cumulus.

Inside the Screen with Mercury thermometer and arm bracket for WH1081 Thermo/Hydro

Davis Pro 2 Rain Gauge, Nylex 1000 cylinder rain gauge and Davis Thermo/hydro sensor with radiation shield, Despite it being over concrete, it has had no effect on the temperature as compared it to the mercury thermometer and only a 0.1C difference, there will be grass laid down at a later date and a small fence:

Davis SIM, UV and Solar Sensor for maximum exposure:

Davis Pro 2 Anemometer and F-Offset 1081 Anemometer array. Davis stands at 5.5mm high, will be extending it to 7.6m soon.

And Lucky Last my Vantage Vue who will accompany me for storm chasing when I eventually get a set of wheels for myself.

Looking good! Nice setup! Big fan of the Stevenson screen. Job well done.  =D>
