Oh now dat's some sexy hardware!  I see some of those along the highways here near bridges.  Wouldn't mind owning one myself were the cost not so out of the ream of "mild hobby" status.
"Alright this next test may involve trace amounts of time travel. So word of advice: if you meet yourself on the testing track don't make eye contact. Lab boys tell me that'll wipe out time - entirely. Forward and backward. So do both of yourselves a favor and let that handsome devil go about his business."

How about some pics of the anemometers. Looks like a great system. Wish I had that.
I live in an apartment and for the moment am not a home weather watcher.

I am a storm chaser.

The R M Young wind monitor is interfaced to a Davis VP2 using my converter device.

Wxtech,

Do you know if the Met One heated 12 inch rain gauge is compatible with the Davis VP2?

Thanks,
Larry

He says, "Thanks for the weather station plug on the forum. And the Met One heated rain gauge is compatible with the Davis."

He is visiting my station this weekend.  We'll discuss wx eqpt, exchange some equipment, and plans for more and better wx eqpt technology.
He already has the ET Gage Company, model E electronic evapotranpiration gauge.  He'll add my ET Gage model A to his station and hopefully compare the ET with the Davis and other calculated ET measurements.
