I have developed an app that can snoop Alerts Gateway packets from a GW1000U ERF-100 (companion to a C84612 and perhaps other model weather stations) and display the current values on a Windows computer in real-time. The Internet Gateway sends sensor data packets to the La Crosse server over the Internet every 2-4 minutes - so you would be able to record samples at that rate. Writing to a CSV file or other data format would be easy.
I am still working out the bugs, but I do have most sensor fields working now. The only thing that needs tweaking is current Wind Speed. All other sensors are working.
Join us on the aforementioned thread - the discussion is rather technical at this point, but any software release announcements will be made there. The app and source code will be free.
