Acurite Professional Weather Station
« on: January 11, 2013, 02:13:54 AM »
This is my kids' Christmas present to me.  This is the Acurite Professional Weather Station.  And yes, that's snow in the background.  We got 10 1/2 inches with a blizzard and then another 4 with a second storm.  Above freezing temps this week have melted some of it.
Standing tall on North Dakota snow. A March blizzard nearly buried utility poles.
Caption jokingly read “I believe there is a train under here somewhere!”

You've got some nice kids! Did they do the install for you too so you could stay inside out of all that snow? lol

Actually, yes he did! The most work I had was to put in the batteries and set the time. :???:

I love your avatar - brings back old memories of Minnesota on the Mesabi Iron Range

Good for you. I have an Acurite that is now a year and a half old and has been flawless. Spot on with professional stations in my area. Enjoy!

Love the screen name and avatar.  Congrats on your new station, you can look at the display and say "yup, another good day to stay inside in my PJ's!"
