Hi Mattk, glad you were able to add some very insightful input regarding things that you have never owned. I am sure your 'opinion' will help many. Due to others on this forum, I was able to remove my system from the cloud, bring it back to life and decide who I share my data with. If you get a letter from OnStar(tm) tomorrow, stating they are gonna turn off your 2 year old car and shut down the server, I hope your search on similar forums to solve your "cloud based ignition" issue, doesn't just give you the "get over it and buy a new car, yours is obsolete". Maybe somebody will actually try to help!!
