Loading time for weather movie
« on: July 30, 2011, 05:03:37 PM »
Could some one go to my site and check how long time it goes before my weather movie starts?

You will find the link in the menu to the left (weather webcam movie).

I have tried it from 2 differnt locations, and it starts after 15 to 30 seconds.

You will find my site at http://www.axelvold.net

It crashes my Win MPlayer DLL in FFox 5 but it seemed like loading anything from the site was very slow.

Them Internet tubes must be filled up.

Thanks for checking, but I think you have some problem at your end, because both site and movie loads very fast here.

Lars
Starts playing after 15-20 seconds.  Caught up with buffer at 40 second mark. (IE8)

First attempte the buffer seemed slower, kept catching up ever 10 seconds.

Lars,

Movie started after 5 seconds but did have issues with the buffering.  Stopped after about 4 seconds then waited for a couple of seconds then went on.  Did this about 5 times to get through the entire movie.  Using Chrome 12.0.742.122.

Much better now. Streams great. A suggestion though.

In the lower left where all the Temp and Wind values are, it's hard to see when the sun comes up.

Yeah, I think i got it to work now, I have tested it in IE8, Opera 11.10, FF5 and Safari 5.0.5
And it have also been tested with this.
IE9 9 Windows7 and Safari, FF, Chrome and Opera on a Mac (Thanks Bertil)

A suggestion though.

I will try to keep the sun down.
