Here is what I want in a weather station: anemometer, rain gauge, barometric forecasts, and accurate temperatures. What do you guys recommend?

Although I have a really bad weather station, I will get a better one this year!

I have the Acurite 5in1 station. I have also had Davis stations for years. The Acurite is very comparable to the Davis units. The main difference is the update time on wind speed. The Davis units update every 2.5 seconds, and the Acurite every 16 seconds. The Acurite does report the highest wind gusts in that period, so you really don't miss out on the wind gusts... You just have to wait longer to see them.

I have my Acurite station uploading rapid-fire to Wunderground. You can see it at http://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KALFLORE15

Tomorrow (Cyber Monday) Acurite will have a 5n1 system with an Internet Bridge and color display for $120 with free shipping.

I'm not sure of the features on the color display.

I'm not sure if discount code from Facebook will apply or not.  If so, that might be another 10% or 20% off.

I just ordered the 5n1 system at the link below.  It has a simplified color console, but I don't care too much about that.  There's also a non-color console version for $10 less.

I used a 20% off coupon from Facebook (yes, it worked!) and got it for a grand total of $95.98 with free shipping!

THAT is a heckuva deal.  I would have preferred the colour console for sure.
