Thx Wim, got it. BTW, I've been reading about Meteobridge not supporting (fixes) their current SW versions unless you pay a fee of 19 euro/2 yr. WTF? I am seriously considering not renewing after my trial is over. Problem is I don't know of any similar product out there...and I've already flashed my AP.
Although that is discussed in another topic, I want to stress that IMHO there is no such product as Meteobridge, not with and not without the optional 10 euro per year support after the first two years..
Meteobridge is supported by all 4 major Weather-Templates, it grew from a small WU-upload device to a full fledged weather-program, including HTTP uploads, SQL support, E-mail alerts, webcam superimposing support and a lot of others extra's. It even lets you use your Davis in your existing or another weather-program by the pass-through facility.
So consider this:
You start with Meteobridge and at every re-boot you load the latest version.
After all is working fine with your website, webcam a.s.o. you should get rid of automatic updates and use what is working with an USB stick to load the Meteobridge program from.
At the end of the free two year updates check if you would need the "latest" release, probably not as all is working fine for then.
On the other hand, if there are continuously new changes / extensions
you need or want to test, you can buy another 2 years of updates.
This is the page of the WiKi
http://meteobridge.com/wiki/index.php/Forum with all releases and updates since 2013, impressive to look at, but most users only use less then 25% ? of all functions.
I have to support the Meteobridge for my
Leuven-Template, so I need to test with older and latest versions. But really 19 euro for two years extra support and only charged if you need it, seems a adequate deal to me.
