Leuven Template suddenly crashing
« on: April 11, 2017, 09:02:21 PM »
I have had today two domain resets of my web account from backup.  I don't know what is crashing on my site, but what i get is a grey page for the weather28 page.
does anyone have anyidea.

The data is updated from weatherlink IP .  i did send wim a note  and it is too early there, but I am really spookekd as to what is crashing that site.  It isn't the hosting site.

There seems to be a big issue with Weatherlink.com

When retrieving the data, invalid data is returned and the script fails.
I am testing what kind of data is returned and will make sure that the script is adapted.

I am utterly ashamed, this is the first time a data-retrieving script fails without at least giving a message that it fails.  ](*,)

Only template users which get their data from weatherlink.com are affected, and that includes my own website http://weer.sluispark.be/  also.

The data returned from weatherlink.com is invalid XML as it contains an extra empty? line beofore the start of the data.

Image of Chrome in inspect mode shows the empty line

Adapted script attached, tested at my own site http://weer.sluispark.be/
