« on: October 10, 2015, 08:56:01 AM »
From the rainpot-thread i got a thought, anybody who knows if Rainwise stuffs are available in any European webshops?

Not that it would be impossible to order from the US but expecially the shipping are damn expensive nowdays not to forgot the tolls and VAT's whats are added...

Scroll down and multiple Rainwise stations are available, only one of them in stock.

Ok, thanks. But at least the cheapest version of the rain gauge (Rainew 111) is not listed, what i would possible be interested in to replace the VP2-gauge with...Seems to be pretty pricely too, € 325 ($ 368) for the 211 what costs $ 129 at rainwise.com...

Look into Amazon they may ship to Europe. http://www.amazon.com/RainWise-Rainew111-Storm-Total-Cabled/dp/B000EK50EW/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1444487568&sr=8-10&keywords=rainwise

Only 1 left but Amazon actually has it in stock, add it to cart and see if it will ship to Europe.

Open box item on ebay Europe. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RainWise-Rainew-W-Dual-Display-Wireless-Rain-Gauge-V9293K-/281813333056?hash=item419d623440

Thanks.
Open item whats more expensive than a new one on rainwise.com? #-o
On the other hand not exactly what i looked for as it is the dual counter version.

The problem is not to buy from the US, i just wanted to see if they are available in Europe to get around the high shipping + the hassle with the taxes. But that ebay-item shows well the costs to get it to Europe/Finland $47 shipping + $36 taxes.

For sure if you are replacing the Davis you don't need the counter, especially a double.
