Some of my weather gadgets . On the left side is a Belfort Hydrothermograph. Below that is a Belfort 800-a Microbarograph. Below the Oracle is a Maximum Cronus Tide clock. Left of the Oracle is a Taylor wet dry bulb thermometer with a mini desk fan. Right side is a Chelsea US Navy 24 hour clock. Above it is a Bendix Friez US Weather Service Barometer. An Airguide US Navy hygrometer. On top is a German WW2 submarine Hygrometer.

Dear Koi, may we call you that?   Sounds better than Scum!

Anyway, I'm really jealous of the equipment collection and also amazed that you've collected some working pieces or restored them.

I think you also forgot to point out the nice brass hurricane lantern above, too.

Did the humidity graphing function require you to go find a long haired blonde to give you some strands to bring it back to function?  In high school I had to get up enough nerve to ask the only blonde gal with long hair in school if I could have some strands.  Things were unsettled until I told her that it was for a science project and made a crude pointer (non-recording) by wrapping it around a straw on a pivot and when the straw rotated slightly, a long light lever moved up and down.  Didn't meet weather bureau standards!

my name is Geoff and I am also a pond nerd , the hair element came from Belfort and cost as much as the thermograph! The other one is the German unit that had hair when I bought it. That one is wicked fast. I am still hunting an old timey stick barometer that doesn't require a second mortgage

Also forgot to mention the weather glass next to the hydrothermograph . That is fascinating .

I forgot to mention I have a Netatmo. Not thrilled with the outdoor unit's range and lack of any weatherproofing but the indoor unit rocks with a CO2 meter
