Anything else like VVP?
« on: August 26, 2011, 02:48:59 PM »
Just curious to know if there is any software similar to VVP that allows the use of two or more weather programs to communicate with a Davis station?

I asked this 5 years ago! Anyway, the answer is no. Also the author of VVP is no longer developing / supporting VVP and it does not support LOOP 2.

Quite happy just running CumulusMX now.

And do you know if it supports Windows 10?

I don't seen the correlation between CumulusMX and VVP.

Simply stating that I used to run several weather programs and now just the one - MX.

I think updates to VVP are dead.  I remember Brian of Weather display saying that he tried to contact the author of VVP. Got no reply.  Brian wanted the source code so he could make improvements-no luck.
That was a few years ago.

Just so others know Cumulus Mx doesn't do what VVP does which is the ability to have WL, WD and Cumulus all running at same time. I'm also happy with my desktop version of Cumulus.
