1.54 oC before the end..
« on: June 12, 2009, 12:08:54 PM »
the end of global warming!

(2.1 - 0.56 = 1.54)
Give me a reason why this won't happen.

I mean for the past 400.000 ages and more when temperature reached that point of +3.2oC ice age always followed!
This temp is going to be reached at about 50 years or less from now, so why not??

The way things are now, we'll probably have a nuclear winter soon, so it is irrelevant.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (runs off screaming)

We're going to freeze to death.

Good thing us humans are only a fly speck on the geological calendar... 8-)

Wow, this is such a cheery thread. So our choices our: A) burn to death from global warming B) die in a flood from global warming C) freeze to death from an ice age D) freeze to death (if we survive the initial onslaught) from nuclear war or F) freeze to death (if we survive the initial impact) from a comet....

Makes ya glad to get out of bed in the morning no?

This reminds me of a "Twilight Zone" episode where it was getting hotter and hotter because the Earth left it's orbit and was getting closer to the Sun.  But, suprise, the woman wakes up and it was a delirious dream because she had a fever and it was really getting colder and colder because the Earth had left it's orbit but was getting farther and farther away from the Sun.  Great Stuff! =D> =D> ;)

Greater chances in my opinion.

Why? Are you playing around at work with things you shouldn't be playing with? ;)

I think in a round about way he just told us he accidentally leaned on another of those little red buttons.

I don't think we have much to worry about when we have such pros looking out for us like the security people at Federal buildings who were found sleeping, or firing their gun into a mirror while practicing quick draws in the john, or the one who let a baby go thru the x-ray machine.  I for one am not afraid.  I am resigned to the fact that we are doooooooooooomed   UU :!:
