Forum speed

I have noticed that the forum loads much slower than usual in the last couple of days. Browsing the topic, or for example when I post stuff, it takes maybe 8-10s before I get redirected and my post appears. My internet connection otherwise is absolutely fine and it is the same thing at work, where we have 1Gbit internet, so I dont think it has anything to do with my computer.
Has anyone else notieced this too?

Ken,  I got the following message several times today when loading pages on the forum,  any ideas?

This page cannot be loaded via the Chrome Data Compression Proxy. Try reloading the page.

This site has been kind of sluggish for me today.  Sometimes the pages take forever to load.

It is now ok for me too,  it just happens from time to time and usually lasts for couple of hours

8, 10, 20 seconds is not 'long'.  It's a sign of how impatient people have become.

Now, if it hangs for a couple of minutes, never loads or throws an error, that's a different matter.
