Title: Temperature Trend.
Post by: GaryFunk on October 19, 2017, 08:04:46 PM
I need some guidance.

The formula for Pressure Trend is Delta = (Ph0 - Ph3) / 3h

I tried to find a standard formula for Temperature Trend and I don't find it. So, any suggestions on what values should be used?

Never heard of such a thing.

Then I will get credit for inventing it.

Good morning

Just create your own , I measure it at 15 minutes and 60 minutes just as a reference point

Temp= 14.2 - Temp15 = 14.4 outputs 0.2 and so on .. whatever the difference is output of change

I found it useful last week when putting together a home made FARS  it helped me find the optimum position.. I also use if for dew point during the silly stupid hot season here where we spend almost two months of continuous 21-25 c dew point which just wrecks us ..sleeping in that is hell..

Hmmm I can cope with the dry summer heat of 30-40c but throw in the periods of dew point of 21-25c is tough for even the locals here in Istanbul particularly this year was awful .. worst I’ve experienced in 11 years..anyway just use a simple formula...brian

I'm setting the threshold at 6C for raising/falling and 12C for rapid.

I've been in Istanbul, Budrum and I've spent some time in Sinop years ago.  I found it a very beautiful and amazing.

In Saigon it's Hot and Humid almost 24 hours a day. I can't be outside an air conditioned room for 5 minutes without being wet all over.
