FTP Error 500
« on: June 19, 2017, 05:12:24 PM »
I'm getting an ftp protocol error 500 where it won't open to my IP address from my computer, but only my WAN address on my router. (The actual error message includes the specific IP addresses.)

Because of this - it's not uploading the testtags, etc to my website. I'm lost...can help?

Thanks!
Eric

I am sure i read somewhere that an update (allegedly) may have toggled passive mode, toggle that and see what results you get?
Kind regards
Bashy

Hey Bashy - thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, no luck. I'll keep searching....

Thanks again!

I am not on 1and1

But I figured it out. A setting in Weather display and my router were both wrong. I made the change and it fixed it!
