Where buy W7?
« on: February 24, 2012, 10:00:28 AM »
Hi guys!

Should want to buy (english) W7 and looking for alternatives, and the question are where to buy?
No matter if shop in US or Europe, downloadble works just fine.
Requirement are that its trusted shop and OS are genuine.
Ideas? ;)

Yes, i know, Linux are free and are also interested about it but haven't figured out Boltek PCI, NexStorm, WXSIM/WXSIMATE (.NET) stable working yet....  #-o
Reason for W7 are that while i runned the wx-stuffs on this puter where W7 it actually showed up to be by far the most stable system i have ever had running the wx-stuffs on. Even XP are not that stable W7 are...

Sign up for a  Microsoft Technet subscription (about $300) and you can "evaluate" all the MS software o and OSes you want.  No time restrictions.

Why sign up for $300 subscription if need $100 proudct? Sounds like a bad deal to me as i don't use M$-products that much and are not a friend of M$ overall...

Why not go straight to the source?
http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/en_US/list/parentCategoryID.44066700/categoryID.50726100

Can't get more genuine than that. ;)

Because i wanted to see if there are any cheaper sources but also because M$-shop forces me to Finnish M$-shop where prices are by far higher than that (ex W7 Proffessional costs 309€/USD410 in M$-shop Finland)...

Any local shops that you have bot stuff before, that might be willing to sell an OEM copy to you?

If you had a Dell, then it would be easier.

On that software site why is there an ad for Win7 Pro $94.99 and then farther down the page it is listed for $158.97 ???

Nope. Ex. the new wx-puter parts comes from Germany where they are cheaper (also with higher deliverycosts) but they sell only German Windoozes and IF i could get a OEM from here it would cost a fortune too (why pay almost 200€ if i can get it for below 100€?)

Seems more like a scam-shop, the shoppingcart doesn't work either...

There are download versions and there are OEM versions with a physical disk.
