Weather Veiw 32 Pressure setting
« on: November 12, 2008, 11:16:02 AM »
Hi there.

Could anyone help please. I sure there must be a way of changing it but have as yet not found out how.

I am using a WMR 928 weather Station with WV 32 software.
Everything works great.

I live in Johannesburg South Africa and being so high up here I only get a reading of 820-830mb.
In the software the guage for pressure starts at 980 Mb. Thus it nevers reads any value.

Is there anyway of changing the scale to start reading a lower value perhaps. Say 750 upwards.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jono

Jono,
You should adjust your physical station to the SL pressure reported by a nearby official station.  Your pressure should be about 1020 right now.  Then your software will work just fine, and your results will be relative to your neighbours and news stations....
