Will LaCrosse read others sensors?
« on: October 06, 2008, 11:24:30 AM »
I'm looking at a buying a PWS and currently have 4 LaCrosse indoor/outdoor displays scattered around the house, all working off one outdoor temp/humidity sensor.

Are there any PWS systems besides LaCrosse that will work with the LaCrosse displays?  It'd sure be nice to have just one central sensor array.

Thanks..

If your talking about more Sensors showing up on the display, then no. Hobby Boards has alot of different sensors you can add for outdoor readings. Weather Display Software will show them sensors on its software.

Software: WeatherDisplay
Hardware: Davis VP2 + VP2 Solar + VP2 UV + Lightning Detector + Logitech Webcam + Soil temp + Soil Moisture

No, I meant would the LaCrosse displays I have now work with another companies sensors.  For example, would my LaCrosse display show the outside temp from a signal generated by a Davis sensor?
