It never starts playing for me.

It brings up QuickTime, but then it loads forever.  It finally stopped, but now the page won't respond any longer.

Windows 7, Chrome Browser.

Ditto here. Gets to the quick-time prompt symbol and continues loading forever.

Windows XP Pro, Chrome browser (I wouldn't put it past Chrome as the culprit ).

I finally got it to play.

Some suggestions:

Change the file extension from .MOV to .mp4

Change the resolution and/or compression rate to something reasonable.  64.5 Meg for a 27-second clip just won't work for many of us.  I only get 2 to 3 Mbps on my DSL, for example.

I can easily watch movies (real time with no buffer stutter) on Netflix on my DSL, so you've got plenty of room for compression.

Much better!

I'm sure that probably works for everybody, including mobile users.

You might be able to get away with kicking it up a notch in size and/or quality. Your "Waving Wheat" may be a good experiment for that as it emphasizes detail.  Try two or three settings and see what your audience likes best.

Another option is to upload it to a place like youtube.  Upload them your best settings and they will transcode your video for lower bandwidth users as needed.

Thanks. I tried to keep my iPhone as still as possible but the wind was blowing hard.
