Meteotemplate Setup problem
« on: January 26, 2017, 10:40:41 PM »
I'm a new Linux user and have been configuring mysql/apache to use with meteotemplate. I'm trying out meteobridge and so far all is well. When I follow the steps to set up meteotemplate I click on the server check button and get the following error in my browser:

The requested URL /serverCheck.php was not found on this server.

Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu) Server at 127.0.0.234 Port 80

That's not the ip address I use for my system - I just substituted for this posting. I'm just trying to set up a web page to view my weather station data - I have no need to put up an actual page on the Internet (Guess I'm looking for intranet page only config). Anyway, what am I doing wrong? Appreciate any help.

I just copied serverCheck.php into the /var/www/html folder and the error message changed to Unauthorized access. Am I supposed to have all the php files in this directory in order to complete the setup?

HI,
sorry for such late reply, I missed your post.

Yes, everything you want to show in the browser has to be in the html/public_html directory in var/www
