Topic: Question about electronic circuit raingauge ws2300

Hello again i have one question if someone knowes to say to me what is
this over the electronic circuit from raingauge La crosse 2300

I take a multimeter and i see ,if the cups go down from the one side
it given 3 VDC when is at middle cut the power 3 VDC ,and after when
go again to the other side it given again 3 VDC ,i undestand when
cut fot 1 sec the 3 VDC current ,when it cups is the middle it say
0,50 mm ,but i do not know what meterial is this in the photo over

I do not understand what material is this maybe is magnetic in the
photos over ??
