Update to my storm damage
« on: June 08, 2017, 03:39:38 PM »
Some of you may remember my post http://www.wxforum.net/index.php?topic=28433.msg275954#msg275954 where my home and ranch were nearly destroyed by a terrible hailstorm and down burst wind event. It's been a long and difficult year and a half, but I am finally beginning to recover. Here are a few pictures of my new ranch office and library which will soon house my Davis VP2 after I get it installed. I built everything here by myself including all of the cabinetry and built-ins.

The new weather station sensor suite will be located at my ranch airstrip as before. The original Davis unit actually transmitted nearly 1/2 miles from the airstrip across the ranch  back to my office! I hope this one does as well as the old one.  \:D/

Beautiful work!  I am sure you'll make your Davis installation on par with your office,

Enjoy,
Paul

I remember that post. Great to hear things are getting back to normal, or at least close to normal as possible.
Great looking cabinets!
