With the WU disaster continuing and their API going away, I was looking at the NWS NOWdata schema.  I'm not a PHP programmer by any means, but looking at their examples section, it looks like a lot of the data for record high/low and normal rain could be gleaned from this site.

I don't know who wrote the original PHP to get data from WU.  But if they know how to do that, I'm hoping someone could step forward and make a PHP to read the returned JSON data.
