I took my tractor/mower in yesterday for annual service, but don't expect to use it for another few weeks, and then only to roll the lawn...

My best idea of this yr so far:
- carry a spare pair of socks in my bag :D - otherwise I would have to sit 12 hours in my office today with my shoes full of water and completely wet socks :D

A HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 81 DEGREES WAS RECORDED AT VALENTINE NE TODAY.
THIS TIED 1995 FOR THE RECORD HIGH FOR MARCH 11.

THIS IS THE SECOND EARLIEST DATE FOR VALENTINE TO REACH OR SURPASS

Had the first real storm of the year in my neck of the woods! Had a few rogue storms form along a gust front, which kept merging with a line of storms. Resulted in a few hail producers as shown below!  8-)

Are they really using the "S" word?

Code: [Select]
Saturday Night
A slight chance of rain before 4am, then a slight chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. West northwest wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday
A chance of rain and snow before 10am, then a chance of rain. Partly sunny, with a high near 49. Northwest wind 8 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

We've had several days in the 70s.  The pool water is just over 60 degrees.  Obviously the ground is far too warm for anything to stick, but the plants and trees that are in bloom might get an unwelcome shock.

low around 35 - even if you did get snow, it would melt as soon as the snowflake reaches the ground

Spring snowstorm going on today in Valentine, already 2" snow. Having issue with cameras and 30° snow. Roads are getting snow packed even with the warmer ground temperatures.

Nice Randy. Yours is streaming every second here. I have 150mbps internet though. Mine is mounted on the eave of the roof at the top of my house so the snow kind of blows off with the strong winds. Ready for Saturday and I will be in the mid 80's in Orlando. Taking my kids to Walt Disney World.

Is my cam smooth on your side?

Sorry Ryan been busy with the NWS today the airport ASOS decided to fail middle of snowstorm so they were using my spotter reports, missed the question about cam smoothness. Yours bounces around a little. It will speed up and put 2-3 seconds down real fast then slow to normal occasional pause a second, then speedup again. That's what I'm seeing on my end, probably normal over internet.

I was taking cell videos and uploading at times...Fun

I saw that watching your cam. We had near white out also my high gust in town was 40 mph, my station outside of town 41 and airport 44mph. Looks like the precip is all that's not working on the airport ASOS.

Just north of there around Larkspur. In between Monument Hill and Castle Rock. 15 miles north of me.

Is it overly weird that just a few miles away (relatively) is an Extreme Fire danger area?
