Topic: GR3 Place file help

So I have a Alison house account and copy the url for my place files that works with no problem. The issues I am having is every time I close gr3 I lose all the copied url. How do I solve this problem?

Are you actually closing out of GR and then not seeing the placefiles, or are you shutting the computer down/restarting?

Yes close the program then reopen and there all gone.

Use the File, Exit menu option instead of closing with the red X for the program to save your settings and placefiles.

I would do what Drew said to do and see if that fixes it  Usually any time I add placefiles, I exit that way. Closing out with the big x in the top right will save things like radar site startup, color tables, etc, but I never got placefiles to save that way.

I just closed by file exit, reopen, and looked at my placefile manger and nothing is present. Any other thoughts

One thing to check is...

Open Task Manager to ensure that there are no additional 'grlevel3.exe' programs still running in the background.

Nothing else is running for GR3

Well then...this is pure speculation on my part...but it could be your antivirus keeping GR3 from writing to your registry. Thinking that is where they are stored?
