A and B pattern wiring for 1 Wire
« on: January 01, 2011, 05:02:43 PM »
Okay Hobby boards give you the wiring info for T568A so I have mapped it to show the B as well.

Okay I know most people could work this out for themselves but a shortcut is a shotcut.

"B" is the "standard".....they are both standards, but B is used almost 99% of the time.  All of the stations I've seen, moreover the user manual, shows a termination pattern of T568B.  Also with the B standard, the two center wires are crossed for telephone usage.  Making new Cat5/6 is easy...and will save you tons of money.

Peace,
Joel
