1-Wire Soil moisture and Leafwetness sensor problems
« on: September 07, 2012, 12:56:20 PM »
Hello,

I've installed this week my Soil moisture meter 2.0 from hobby-boards with 3 watermark soil sensors, and 1 leaf wetness sensor connected to it.
Today i've made the final connections, and connected it up with my pc.

But so far as it goes now, it won't work.
The Soil meter is found in the dallasonewireviewer, because the ID is reported and found.
I've put the ID in the dallasonewireviewer.exe and ticked the button hobby boards, but it keeps reporting saying soil moisture 0.00. also my leaf wetness sensor isn't recognized.
See the Example image below.

Also, do i need to do something with the voltages?.
I'dont really know what to put there.

Thanks.

Mark.

cant read the images...all fuzzy
yes you need to set the voltage thresholds

I see you have already asked this question on the WD forum
I would suggest waiting until a user with these sensors replies there as to what to enter for those thresholds
or search the WD forum for posts about using these 1 wire sensors
