What source should I believe ?
« on: November 04, 2018, 06:40:23 PM »
First of all I'm new to all of this. So please forgive a potentially stupid question
I have my WS-2092A up and running and everything is almost working as it should, exception being Wunderground ( not reporting)
My PWS says the outside temp is 37.8
A weather app I use on my iPad says it's 42
Alexa tells me it's 44
Any ideas why such a big difference?
Thanks in advance

Assuming your station is accurate, use that.  Compare it to another standard thermometer if you have one.

The other numbers you're seeing are from distant locations, maybe the nearby airport, or a city several miles away.  Temperatures can vary widely over just a few miles.

Thanks for that, makes sense. I just checked the outside temp with a mercury thermometer and the station temperature is accurate.
These PWS’s are a cool piece of kit
