What could you hack up with an old smartphone?
« on: June 26, 2012, 02:58:04 PM »
I just got a new Droid 2 to replace my old Droid 2. The keyboard was flaky and the camera wouldn't focus. The new one was only $131 on ebay, and my contract isn't up until the end of the year.

So, I have an otherwise perfectly good Droid 2 that is off the network. What could be done with it? Wifi and Bluetooth work...

Put it into airplane mode and use it for bit torrents (add a large memory card for storage).  Use the GPS function for... something.. Car  tracker??

if you are feeling genereous, load this http://www.android4autism.com/ and donate it.
