GRLevel3 running in virtualbox help

I have been working on this for weeks and for the life of me I can not get it to work. I'm trying to run grlevel3 in a windows 7 virtualbox under Linux here is my setup.

1. Ubuntu Server 14.04.3 LTS
2. Phpvirtualbox 5.0-2
3. Guess additions installed in safe mode
4. Windows 7 professional running.

My error code is 0x8876086A
Unable to get Directx9 device capabilities
GrLevel3 will not exit.

I am new to Linux and virtrualbox an have fumble though this with a couple of F bombs shouted out, but I am still moving forward. Any guidance would be greatly appreciate it.

194 views, and their is no one that is running a grlevelx in a virtual Box in Linux? ](*,)

Did you get it going? I have successfully done so for quite a while on Ubuntu. Use Oracle VM Virtualbox. Be sure to install the extension pack.

I was only able to get it on a desktop version not the headless version. I get everything installed on the headless version with no problem as soon as I run PHP VirtualBox it doesn't give me the option to click the 3d acceleration, and yes the extension pack are installed. II would like to run it in the headless scene I won't be using the desktop. I will still keep trying.

I am running it in a VM on Ubuntu for web uploading. Works fine for me using Virtual Box with the 3d graphics enabled. Link to it running http://albanystorms.com/radar/
